Yian sees that every client has their own story and dreams to fulfil, and she is there to help them pursue and achieve it. Being in the position changing the lives of her clients, she fully knows the significance of the job as a property agent. Because of that, she wants those planning to buy a property to find an agent that can listen and understand your needs because buying properties is not just about what you like, but also how it can help you achieve your dreams.

At a very young age, Yian Wong realised the importance of a home. Her father passed away when she was 12 years old. They were staying in a rental flat and her mother struggled with the monthly rental. In order to reduce her mother’s financial burden, she worked part-time as a salesgirl at a department store when she was 15 to support her own studies. After completing her A Levels, Yian worked in accounting for a good 16 years.  She joined real estate at the end of 2006. At that time, Yian has the option of working in other industries but ultimately chose real estate because she feels a stronger connection with it. That has proven to be an excellent choice for Yian as she managed to achieve SGD100k gross commission in her first nine months in the industry.

Over the years, she has built strong rapport with clients from various backgrounds, she does mainly rental and sales for residential properties from all over Singapore. She is always there when her clients needed her. Her strength is selling properties that are facing challenges in sale. She has proven records that properties sold in market for more than 6 months are sold by her as fast as one week’s time.

She also has achieved multiple accomplishments throughout her career, including the Salespersons Achievement Award from the Organising Committee and Evaluation Panel of the SG Real Estate Agents Excellence Awards in 2020. But for her, the most significant milestone she achieved was fulfilling her lifelong dream of buying landed property for her family.

For Yian, she feels a great sense of achievement in helping her clients to find their dream house and knowing the value of having somewhere to call home is the reason why she can connect very well with her clients. To her, a home is not merely a concrete building—it is somewhere filled with love and dreams, a place where you belong and want to go back at the end of the day. That is why she always tries to connect with her clients and understand their needs before providing the best options and advise them on it
